Setting Up Call Forwarding

The Forwarding section allows you to configure call forwarding for your AI agents. This feature lets you transfer calls to external phone numbers when needed, ensuring your calls are always answered, even outside of your AI agent's capabilities.

Understanding Call Forwarding

Adding a Forwarding Number

  1. Enter Phone Number: Provide the phone number you want to forward calls to. Use the international format (e.g., +15551234567). The input field uses an interactive widget to help you format the number correctly.
  2. Add a Label (Optional): Provide a descriptive label for the number (e.g., "Office," "Mobile," "Home").
  3. Calculate Rate: Click the "Calculate Rate" button to determine the cost of forwarding calls to this number.

Managing Forwarding Numbers

Once you've added forwarding numbers, you can manage them in the following ways:

  • Enable/Disable: Use the toggle switch next to each number to enable or disable forwarding.
  • Edit: Click the pencil icon (✏️) to edit the number's label or allocated minutes.
  • View Usage: Monitor the number of forwarding minutes used in the current period. A progress bar visually represents the usage against the allocated minutes.

Rate Calculation

The cost of call forwarding depends on the destination and the number of minutes you expect to forward each month. The "Calculate Rate" button provides a cost estimate based on your input.

Note: If your account is scheduled for cancellation, you won't be able to add or manage forwarding numbers.
